Featured Maker: Dennis Hansbury – Handcut Illustrations

Dennis Hansbury’s Handcut Illustrations are exactly what they sounds like, andt they are awesome! With the use of a scroll saw, Dennis creates works of art on wood surfaces, and paints illustrations on them, giving you art you can hold in your hand!

Makers that MOVE you!

With our new location at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, we have space for awesome maker vehicles. Check out six featured exhibits that will move you…and view the entire list of Maker exhibits.

We still have room for more vehicles – so if you know someone that makes hot rods, low-riders, crazy car audio, jumping hydraulic cars, custom motorcycles or more – let us know!

The First 64 Exhibits for 2016 are Now Online!

Even though our Call for Makers is still open (PLEASE tell your friends, family and co-workers that make things to apply!), we’ve started reviewing exhibits, and we’ve approved the first 64 for 2016! Many of our favorites are returning from past years, and we have some exciting new Makers and their creations – like “Menagerie in Motion”  below!

Check out the ever-growing list of approved exhibits, and if you think of something missing, shoot us a note at makers@makerfaireorlando.com with information on makers from Central Florida that we should invite!

If you are a maker with a pending exhibit, don’t be dismayed if we have not approved your exhibit yet. We meet weekly to review and approve – and we work hard to ensure that we have a diverse group of exhibits, and that we can meet the requirements of each exhibit. It takes time, and we greatly appreciate your patience 🙂
