Poet
Poet is a 3lb Combat Robot designed to incapacitate its opponent as quickly as possible. Poet's primary method of destruction is the 8 inch horizontal flywheel in the front of the robot. In the event of failure, the Plan B is to explode spectacularly. My main goal is to wreak havoc in the arena for myself and my opponent, regardless of the winner.

Chaos Theory
I am a Mechanical Engineer and Applied Mathematician for a small jewelry supplier based outside Washington DC. In my free time, I study a branch of mathematics called Dynamical Systems and build combat robots. This tournament is the second event that my current bot, Poet, has attended. With all the upgrades I have implemented since my last event, I am excited to see how Poet does at Maker Faire Orlando!
