Maker Faire Orlando is a non-profit, community-organized, family-friendly celebration featuring local do-it-yourself science, art, rockets, robots, crafts, technology, music, hands-on-activities, and more. It’s an event where people show what they are making and share what they are learning. The individuals behind these exhibits are known as “Makers” and they range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds. The aim of Maker Faire is to entertain, inform, connect and grow this community.
Maker Faire Orlando 2017 will be held on Saturday, October 21 from 10am to 7pm and on Sunday, October 22 from 10am to 5pm. The event will take place at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, featuring exhibits in 3 air-conditioned exhibit halls and in the green spaces between the expo halls. All parking is on-site, and is free. A variety of food choices are available from on-site food vendors.

All ticket sales are non-refundable, however they are transferrable prior to admission. Two day tickets may only be used by a single attendee.
Ticket proceeds benefit The Maker Effect Foundation, a 501(c)(3) educational charity located in Orlando, FL and are used to further the maker movement in Central Florida.
