Fiber Fun for Everyone 2025
A variety of fiber crafts will be demonstrated, including spinning yarn on spindles and wheels, weaving on a variety of looms, kumihimo, knitting, crochet, and more. Items including woven towels, shawls, bags, jewelry, etc. will be on display to show what can be made. We will have a free kumihimo-style make-and-take activity.

Drunken Monkey Spinners/Weavers of Orlando
Demonstrators belong to either or both the Weavers of Orlando or the Drunken Monkey Spinning group. WoO celebrated its 75th anniversary several years ago, and has regular meetings, classes for a variety of fiber crafts, and demonstrates at several events a year. The Drunken Monkey Spinners meet monthly. Members spin yarn on spindles and wheels and weave on a variety of looms. They produce many items such as woven towels, shawls, bags, socks, etc. They do other fiber arts such as knit, crochet, kumihimo, macrame, beading, basketry, etc.
