Freedom A.I.

Freedom A.I.

Freedom AI is a working customizable personal-assistant system built around a simple idea: your AI should be yours. Instead of being limited to one character, personality, appearance or purpose, Freedom AI allows users to create and personalize their own assistant with a custom identity, voice, behavior and interface. The system combines voice interaction, conversational AI, built-in commands and tools, customizable characters, visual interfaces, media controls and other features in a portable design that can move between compatible Windows devices. At Maker Faire, Freedom AI will be demonstrated through “Ghost,” the creator's own customized assistant, integrated into a heavily modified Chevrolet Silverado. The installation combines software, electronics, 3D printing, woodworking, upholstery, car audio and custom fabrication. Ghost can hear and respond to visitors through the vehicle while a physical Ghost character adds another interactive element to the experience. Visitors will be able to see Freedom AI working in a real-world installation, interact with Ghost, and learn how one customizable AI platform can become something completely different depending on who builds it.
