Last Ride is Kinetic Outlaws' entry in the 3 lb beetleweight class — an egg-beater-style vertical spinner built around a simple philosophy: consistency wins more fights than raw power. Rather than chasing maximum destructive output, the design prioritizes a lean, fully 3D-printed chassis with modular components that can be swapped out in minutes between rounds. Every part of the bot was built with pit-side repairability in mind, so a damaged wedge, cracked panel, or bent weapon arm doesn't end our tournament — it just means a quick reprint or swap and we're back in the arena. The result is a robot designed to survive a full event, not just one good hit. Last Ride reflects our team's broader approach: disciplined engineering, fast iteration, and a focus on systems that hold up under pressure, match after match.

Our team combines dedicated roles in engineering design, manufacturing, and operations leadership, backed by a longtime mentor who's helped guide the team from the sidelines. We're new to the SPARC circuit but building with the discipline of a much bigger operation — expect a team that learns fast, and comes back stronger after every match.
