Quantum Entanglement
Carbon Based Crew is a team of 12-year old first time robot builders from Orlando, Florida, working with guidence and supervision from their parents. For their first Robot Rukus competition, the team assembled, tested, and prepared a one-pound Skizo vertical-spinner combat robot.
Through this project, the team is learning about mechanical assembly, electronics, robot design, safe operation, driving strategy, problem solving and teamwork. Visitors can meet the team, see the robot upclose, and learn how its wheels, electronics, armor, and spinning weapon work together during a combat-robot match. The team is excited to put its new skills to the test in the arena and share its first robot-building experience with the Maker Faire community.
