Urban Sketchers Orlando

Urban Sketchers capture life through sketching, drawing, and painting scenes as we see them unfold in front of us. Urban Sketchers Orlando is one of more than 600 chapters around the world that gather to collectively make art in public.
Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, Urban Sketchers Orlando has welcomed hundreds of sketchers at events throughout the years, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to Maker Faire Orlando to join us! We'll be teaching people how to sketch, supplying the materials for their first sketches, and welcoming them to exhibit their finished sketches on the wall with the sketches of other Maker Faire Orlando attendees.
Skill level and artistic talents don't matter: The willingness to really see the world around you and commit your vision to paper does. Join us to see what the Urban Sketching movement is all about!

Urban Sketchers Orlando

Urban Sketchers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising the artistic, storytelling, and educational value of location drawing, promoting its practice, and connecting people around the world who draw on location where they live and travel. We aim to show the world, one drawing at a time. Since its inception in 2016, the Orlando Urban Sketchers Chapter, a member of the International organization, serves the Central Florida community by offering monthly on-location sketching meetups and hosting urban sketching workshops and demos. We interact and engage with local organizations, showcasing urban sketching art and supporting young artists' education. We document Orlando's and Central Florida's community life via Sketch-Reportage art form and share our stories with the world, One Drawing at a Time.
