Weavers of Orlando/Drunken Monkey Spinners

Demonstrators belong to either or both the Weavers of Orlando or the Drunken Monkey Spinning group. WoO celebrated its 75th anniversary several years ago, and has regular meetings, classes for a variety of fiber crafts, and demonstrates at several events a year. The Drunken Monkey Spinners meet regularly and often volunteer at the annual Distaff Day event in early January. Members spin yarn on spindles and wheels and weave on a variety of looms. They produce many items such as woven towels, shawls, bags, socks, etc. They do other fiber arts such as knit, crochet, kumihimo, macrame, beading, basketry, etc.
