FIRST Team 16290 Z.I.P Ties
Our students are tasked to design, build, and program a robot to complete various challenges in autonomous and human-controlled modes, create an engineering notebook that details the team's journey, and reach out to their community. We take our robot through several competitions at the league, regional, state, and world levels.

We are Z.I.P Ties, a fifth-year FTC Robotics team, and have earned 1st place in the highest award, the Inspire Award, at our league championship, 1st place Inspire Award at the Florida State championship, the 1st place Florida bid to the World Championship in Houston, the 1st place Motivate award at the World Championships in our division, and we represented Sanford as the only Florida team to place 1st in an award at this recent Worlds.
